Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ArogyaRelief. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. What ArogyaRelief Is

ArogyaRelief is a disaster relief and healthcare coordination platform that connects disaster-affected individuals with verified healthcare providers, hospitals, pharmacies, NGOs, volunteers, and government authorities, initially serving Assam with planned expansion across India.

2. What ArogyaRelief Is Not

ArogyaRelief is not a replacement for official emergency services. In any life-threatening situation, always contact:

  • 108 — Medical Emergency
  • 100 — Police
  • 101 — Fire
  • 1070 — State Disaster Management Helpline
  • NDRF — National Disaster Response Force

ArogyaRelief is designed to support coordination with district and state disaster management authorities. It does not replace, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for, NDRF, SDRF, or official district administration emergency response.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must sign in using Google Authentication, the platform's sole

supported sign-in method.

  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or

submitting a request.

  • One Google account may hold multiple approved roles (e.g. Volunteer

and Doctor). Creating duplicate accounts to circumvent verification, role limits, or platform rules is prohibited.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your

account and for all activity under it.

4. Responder Verification

Responder roles (NGO, Doctor, Hospital, Pharmacy, Volunteer, Government) require verification before dashboard access is granted. Submitting false credentials, impersonating a verified professional or organization, or misrepresenting your qualifications is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and referral to appropriate authorities. See our Verification Policy for details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, or malicious emergency requests or SOS

alerts

  • Impersonate another person, organization, or verified responder
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Post false or misleading community reports
  • Attempt to access data or accounts you are not authorized to access
  • Interfere with the platform's operation or security
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

Violation of these rules may result in warning, suspension, permanent account termination, and where applicable, referral to law enforcement — particularly for false emergency reports, which can divert real resources away from genuine victims during a disaster.

6. Requests and Responder Obligations

ArogyaRelief facilitates connections between victims and responders. We do not guarantee that any specific request will be accepted, that a response will occur within any specific time frame, or that any particular outcome will result. Responders (NGOs, doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, volunteers) act independently, and ArogyaRelief is not responsible for the actions, omissions, availability, or quality of care provided by any responder.

7. Community Content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any community report, broadcast, or content you submit. Do not submit content that is false, defamatory, or intended to mislead other users.

8. Intellectual Property

The ArogyaRelief name, platform design, and underlying software are the property of ArogyaRelief and its founders. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute platform content or code without permission, except as necessary for your own personal, non-commercial use of the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

ArogyaRelief is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArogyaRelief and its founders are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to delays in response, unavailability of the platform during infrastructure outages common during disasters, or the independent actions of third-party responders.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ArogyaRelief and its founders harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, submit fraudulent information, or misuse the platform in a way that endangers other users or undermines emergency response efforts.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Assam, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
