Our Mission

To reduce preventable suffering during disasters by giving every person — regardless of location, language, or resources — a clear and immediate way to request help and a clear and immediate way to provide it.

Why Healthcare Cannot Wait

In a flood-affected area, the health situation deteriorates rapidly after the first 24 hours. Contaminated water causes diarrhoea and cholera. Open wounds become infected. People with chronic conditions — diabetes, hypertension, asthma — run out of medication. Pregnant women cannot reach hospitals. Children develop fever in overcrowded relief camps.

These are not rare outcomes. They are predictable consequences of displacement and disruption. And they are largely preventable when the right medical resource reaches the right person at the right time.

That is what our mission is focused on — the gap between what someone needs and what actually reaches them during a crisis.

Connect Victims to Responders

When someone submits a request — whether for medical help, food, water, shelter, or rescue — that request is immediately visible to the right verified responders. No phone trees, no guesswork.

verified

Ensure Verified Responders

Access to sensitive requests is limited to verified doctors, NGOs, pharmacies, hospitals, and volunteers. Verification prevents misuse and ensures that help comes from accountable parties.

Enable Fast, Coordinated Response

Speed matters in disasters. The platform is designed to minimise steps — a victim submits a request in under three minutes, a responder can accept and act on it in seconds.

equalizer

Prioritise by Urgency

Not all requests are equal. ArogyaRelief uses urgency classification so that critical medical cases surface first and responders can allocate limited resources where they matter most.

What Good Coordination Changes

A doctor at a relief camp can see which patients need urgent hospital referral without waiting for a physical messenger.

A pharmacy with ORS and paracetamol can flag availability to NGOs routing supplies.

A family stranded in a flood zone can submit their location and medical condition through a basic smartphone and reach someone who can act.

An NGO can log the capacity and status of their medical camp so that the district administration has an accurate, live picture of resources.

A volunteer with a boat can see the nearest rescue request and respond without a coordinator calling them individually.

Our Commitment

We are committed to keeping this platform practical, honest, and grounded in the real conditions faced by disaster-affected communities. We will measure our progress not by the number of users on our platform but by whether the people who most need help are actually reached faster and more reliably than they were before.
